Embracing God’s Calling

How can we remain faithful when following Christ becomes difficult?

In this sermon from 1 Peter 5:12–14, Pastor Anthony Achée explains how God strengthens believers through His grace, their shared identity in Christ, and the loving fellowship of His people. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. God has given us His grace to stand upon, His people to stand beside us, and His peace to sustain us.

This message focuses on three truths:

Strengthened by Divine Grace (v. 12)

Strength in Shared Identity (v. 13)

Solidarity in Love and Peace (v. 14)

When suffering, opposition, or discouragement makes standing firm difficult, believers can depend upon God’s unchanging grace and encourage one another as members of His family. Because we are united in Christ, we are called not only to stand firm ourselves but also to help others stand firm.

Big Idea: Together, we stand firm in God’s grace, encouraging one another as we faithfully follow Christ.
