Meet Pastor Anthony J. Achée
Pastor Anthony J. Achée leads Berean Bible Church with a deep love for God’s Word and a life committed to making disciples who live on mission. A proud graduate of William Carey University with a B.A. in Psychology, he later earned his Master of Divinity in Expository Preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, equipping him to faithfully proclaim Scripture and train believers to understand, live, and share the gospel.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Anthony serves as a Chaplain in the Louisiana Army National Guard, offering spiritual care and gospel hope to those who serve our state and nation. This unique dual calling as both Shepherd and Soldier shapes his passion for evangelism, discipleship, and missions—fueling his commitment to the Great Commission and his desire to equip believers to follow Christ faithfully in every season of life and every place God sends them.
He is joined in ministry by his wife, Julia Mendez Achée, who leads the congregation in worship through the music ministry. Together, they have raised adult children and understand firsthand the joys and challenges of family life. Whether you are a neighbor down the street or a military family new to the area, Pastor Anthony is eager to welcome you home to Berean Bible Church, a place where the gospel is proclaimed, believers are discipled, and lives are sent out for the glory of Christ.
