In a world filled with conflicting voices and competing claims, how can we know what is really true?
In 2 Peter 1:16–21, Peter reminds believers that the Christian faith is not built upon cleverly invented stories. The apostles personally witnessed the majesty of Jesus Christ, and the Scriptures were given by men who spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
God’s Word is a lamp shining in a dark place, providing truth and direction as we await Christ’s return. Because God has spoken, we can trust His Word, submit to its authority, and allow it to shape how we believe and live.
